What happened to Trump's promise of ending it all in 24 hours?]]>
<![CDATA[

Amid rising tensions and high-pressure diplomacy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. officials and European leaders in Rome. These talks happened just hours before a scheduled phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. 321c2c

During a meeting at the U.S. ambassador’s residence, Zelenskyy spoke with U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. On social media, Zelenskyy stressed the need for “real diplomacy” and repeated Ukraine’s goal of securing a “full and unconditional ceasefire.” Zelesnkyy has a way with negotiating, so he may get what he needs.

According to CBS, Zelenskyy wrote, “We have also touched upon the need for sanctions against Russia, bilateral trade, defense cooperation, battlefield situation, and prisoners exchange. Pressure is needed against Russia until they are eager to stop the war.”

Zelenskyy met with the vice president regarding Russia r2j13

According to Fox, President Trump said he would speak with Putin to address the ongoing violence in Ukraine. After that call, he planned to talk with Zelenskyy and several NATO leaders. Secretary Rubio, in an interview on “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan,” suggested that a successful outcome might require Trump and Putin to meet in person, noting that Trump had already publicly offered such a meeting.

While itting that arranging it would be complicated, Rubio said Trump wanted it to happen “as soon as possible.” He also recognized the challenge of balancing patience in peace talks with the need to act quickly, given the ongoing war and other global crises.

The urgency of the situation was highlighted by a massive Russian drone attack on Ukraine, which happened at the same time as these diplomatic efforts. Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia launched 273 explosive drones and decoys targeting Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk. While 88 drones were shot down, 128 were lost, likely due to electronic jamming.

Yuriy Ihnat, head of the air force’s communications department, called this the largest drone attack since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022. Reports confirmed casualties from the attack; Kyiv regional Gov. Mykola Kalashnyk said a 28-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured, including a 4-year-old child.

Beyond his meeting with U.S. officials, Zelenskyy also met with Pope Leo XIV after the Pope’s first Mass. Zelenskyy mentioned the Vatican’s possible role in ending the war and thanked the Holy See for offering to host direct talks between Ukraine and Russia. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also spoke with Zelenskyy and Rubio, confirming that European leaders were coordinating with the U.S. ahead of the Trump-Putin call.

Who could have guessed Marjorie's boyfriend would be just as insufferable as she is?]]>
<![CDATA[

Last week, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy was bullied on a global stage by two of the most powerful men in the world. Not only that, but he was mocked by reporter and boyfriend of Marjorie Taylor Greene, Brian Glenn, for not adhering to some imaginary dress code.

Honestly, the most shocking takeaway from this news is that Marjorie Taylor Greene has a boyfriend. Yuck. What do they even talk about? How much they love drinking the tears of children detained by ICE? It’s no surprise someone who is romantically involved with the far-right congresswoman would have an equally warped set of morals; imagine asking the leader of a war-torn country why he isn’t wearing a suit! (And if he had been wearing one, he’d have been accused of frivolously abusing U.S. aid). Glenn and Greene really are a match made in heaven.

Marjorie is “proud” of her boyfriend’s jab at Zelenskyy 6tw4j

The moment caused a wave of outrage around the country, but that didn’t bother Green who, of course, believes her boyfriend was in the right for pointing out Zelenskyy’s apparent “disrespect.” Last week, she made a tweet claiming to be “proud” of her boyfriend for mentioning it, but she made no mention of the blatant disrespect Trump and Vance showed the Ukrainian president. Apparently, the most pressing issue to her was Zelenskyy attire. Seriously.

Most people do not see eye to eye with Marj here 70327

Now, normally the replies underneath Greene’s tweets are full of yes men and women who all agree with whatever Greene says, but in this case, even the people who are usually there to pad her echo chamber were unusually silent. Instead, people called her out and expressed for Zelenskyy.

Others pointed out the blatant hypocrisy on display, as nobody said a word when Elon Musk showed up to the Oval Office dressed like someone hit the “randomize outfit” button on a Sims character.

Oh, and Elon also brought his child into the office, a child who outright told the president to shut his mouth. Why weren’t Marjorie and her boyfriend talking about disrespect then?

Marjorie’s opinion has caused some upset 695812

You’d be hard-pressed to find a tweet that agrees with Greene. Perhaps that’s because a majority of Americans Zelenskyy — according to a poll conducted by CBS News and YouGov, 52% are for Ukraine with a measly 4% backing Russia. Meanwhile, the other 44% voted for neither. It’s worth pointing out that this was before the Zelenskyy-Trump meeting last week.

Either way, Trump and his band of MAGAs have accused Zelenskyy of being a dictator and in doing so have played right into Putin’s hands, something which, I think we can all agree, is not what a majority of Americans want.

The attitude expressed by Glenn towards the Ukrainian leader shows that his morals and values are perfectly aligned with the presidents, and in turn, Greene’s, which is not a compliment. But just know, no matter what he says to impress Greene, he will always come second to Trump in her heart. But seriously, both of them expressed terrible moral comes and people are growing tired of their hypocritical preaching, (although we’ve been tired of it for years here at WGTC).

Actions speak louder than words, Mr. Trump.]]>
<![CDATA[

Well, here we are, citizens of Earth. World War III is trending once again and it’s all because of the man we call the president of the United States.

Negotiations fell through between Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. president Donald Trump today, and by that, I mean the negotiations devolved into a screaming match between the two world leaders with the U.S. side doing most of the screaming. In footage shown all across the world, we saw Trump and JD Vance gang up on the Zelenskyy, who has been busy defending his country from the Russian invasion for three years now.

The heated exchange between the three politicians went so off the rails at one point that Trump even brought up the possibility of World War III, effectively threatening Zelenskyy with it.

Viewers called the catastrophic negotiations an embarrassment, and I would say that’s a fair assessment of the situation.

Trump claims he is an agent of peace 39551v

Despite evidence to the contrary, Trump claimed that he was actually the one advocating for peace in this situation. Trump made a statement that was posted to his little echo chamber, aka Truth Social, to try and play the good cop — as if he and Vance hadn’t shouted at the Ukrainian president for attempting to defend his land from invaders or claimed he wasn’t appreciative enough to the U.S. mere hours earlier.

In his statement, Trump claimed “Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE.” It’s hard to believe Trump really wants peace when he was the one bringing up the subject of another World War.

Also, his supposed deal to help Ukraine was gross and exploitative. The U.S. president expected Zelenskyy to sign a deal agreeing to give 50% of future proceeds from Ukraine owned mineral resources, as well as oil and gas. Does Trump really want peace? Or does he just want to make him and his rich buddies even richer?

Trump went on to say that the Ukrainian president “disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.” If we’re talking about disrespect, how about last week when Trump excluded Zelenskyy from peace talks with Russia. Wouldn’t you say cutting a country’s leader out of peace talks involving their own country is one of the most disrespectful things you could do?

Trump and Vance seem to be siding with Putin w3o6z

As if this wasn’t already obvious, the Trump istration is clearly favoring Putin in this situation. The U.S. president has already made wildly untrue claims about Ukraine being the ones who started the war, as well as calling Zelenskyy a dictator. He even criticized Zelenskyy for hating the Russian leader. Who wouldn’t hate Putin if they were in Zelenskyy’s shoes?

Unlike other world leaders, Zelenskyy wasn’t prepared to flatter Trump to get what he wanted, (if he had, it would have probably worked). In hindsight, it seems like these negotiations were doomed to fail from the start.

JD Vance actually said it best at one point during the discussion when he claimed there would be no more “pretending that the president of the United States’ words mattered more than the president of the United States’ actions.” Donald Trump may be saying he wants peace, but his actions tell us that simply isn’t true.

Tucker Carlson will be the first Western journalist to interview the Russian leader since the war broke out in Ukraine.]]>
<![CDATA[

Last year Tucker Carlson was deprived of his platform at Fox News, his voice silenced, no longer could we hear him ranting and raving about Donald Trump or his sexual fantasies involving the green M&M. In the 10 months since his departure from the news network, Carlson’s career and future trajectory have changed somewhat, and now he’s interviewing the Russian president regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Even those who aren’t the biggest fans of the former Fox host are curious as to how he would fare in such an interview. After all, it’s a big deal, Carlson will be the first Western journalist to interview Vladimir Putin since his country began its invasion of Ukraine. What kind of questions will he ask? And will Carlson really press the Russian leader on the more controversial issues? People want to know, and as such both sides of the political spectrum have been anticipating the interview. But will it be available for all to watch?

Where can you watch Tucker Carlson’s interview with Vladimir Putin? 5q6i8

The interview will be available to watch online for free on Tucker Carlson’s own website, as well as on X — apparently, Elon Musk has also assured Carlson that it will not be suppressed or blocked when it drops. We haven’t been given a specific time or date for when to expect it yet, but it has been filmed and is currently being edited. According to the Wall Street Journal, it could be ready as soon as this Thursday. At the moment, Carlson’s website features a short video describing his reasoning for talking to the Russian leader.

“American media outlets have spoken to scores of people from Ukraine, and they’ve done scores of interviews with Ukrainian president Zelensky […] not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of the other country involved in this conflict, Vladimir Putin.”

Of course, the video is also sprinkled with a few digs at the mainstream media’s coverage too, as Carlson accuses outlets of being one-sided and omitting information. However, mainstream outlets are not the only ones to gloss over facts, apparently, as a spokesperson for the Kremlin has denied Carlson’s claim about being the only Western journalist to ask Putin for an interview. In fact, plenty of journalists have tried, but Carlson has been the only one to be accepted. According to Reuters, the spokesperson went on to say that the reason Carslon’s request had been accepted was due to his purported impartiality, not being pro-Russian or pro-Ukrainian, whereas other outlets were presumably too one-sided.

However, some would say that Carlson’s stance in regards to Zelensky has been pretty controversial from day one; he’s been pretty critical of the Ukrainian leader and how he’s been presented in the news, so to say Carson isn’t one-sided is a bit of a stretch. Whilst he claims his team have reached out to the Ukrainian president for an interview, it’s understandable why Zelensky wouldn’t want to talk to the former Fox host. Either way, it looks like the interview is going to be pretty polarizing whenever it does finally appear.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy questions Ron DeSantis' definition of a 'U.S. Priority.']]>
<![CDATA[

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, after the Republican questioned America’s ongoing for Ukraine as Russia continues to invade the country, calling military of Ukraine “not a key U.S. interest.”

Zelenskyy, in an interview with The Atlantic, pointed out that if Russia fully occupies Ukraine, what’s to stop Vladimir Putin if he decides to invade Moldova, or Belarus, or occupy Latvia or other Eastern European countries?

He also stated that if Ukraine falls, smaller countries might struggle to defend themselves once they’ve become the next target for Russia — especially since, Zelenskyy explains, Russia wants to “take back all countries” who were part of the Soviet Union.

“If we will not have enough weapons, that means we will be weak. If we will be weak, they will occupy us. If they occupy us, they will be on the borders of Moldova and they will occupy Moldova. When they have occupied Moldova, they will [travel through] Belarus and they will occupy Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. That’s three Baltic countries which are of NATO. They will occupy them. Of course [the Balts] are brave people, and they will fight. But they are small. And they don’t have nuclear weapons. So they will be attacked by Russians because that is the policy of Russia, to take back all the countries which have been previously part of the Soviet Union.”

Asides from that, Zelenskyy also mentions a potential war between Russia and NATO, and asked DeSantis when should America its allies, if not now? Should it be during the start of such a conflagration, when it’s only two countries in question? Or should it be when NATO is fully involved, when young people might be sent to the front lines, and all of NATO’s allies are affected? Or should it be held back until such time as when Russia attacks U.S. territory itself?

“When they will occupy NATO countries, and also be on the borders of Poland and maybe fight with Poland, the question is: Will you send all your soldiers with weapons, all your pilots, all your ships? Will you send tanks and armored vehicles with your young people? Will you do it? Because if you will not do it, you will have no NATO.

So what will you do when Russia will use rockets to attack your allies, to [attack] civilian people? And what will you do when Russia, after that, if they do not see [opposition] from big countries like the United States? What will you do if they will use rockets on your territory?”

DeSantis appeared last week on Fox News, at which time he questioned America’s ongoing for Ukraine, and opined that it shouldn’t be a priority. According to Politico, the governor faced backlash from other Republicans after he made those comments during an interview with Tucker Carlson. The response his party made was similar to Zelenskyy’s, stating that Eastern Europe and the rest of NATO would be at risk if Russia fully occupies the country. New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu stated,

“If you let Russia start to come in and walk over Ukraine, you put all of Eastern Europe at risk. You put all of our NATO allies there at risk. And then when a NATO ally is now at risk, now you really risk having to put potential American troops on the ground, which nobody wants to see and shouldn’t happen.

“Sending $50 billion in aid to Ukraine is “a deal,” if it means not having to send troops to fight a war in Europe.”

What’s interesting about DeSantis’ comments is that there are people in the U.S. who continue to share ongoing for Ukraine. Celebrities like Mark Hamill and Sean Penn have been vocal in encouraging ongoing American . Meanwhile, Kevin Sorbo faced backlash after he used the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a joke while filing his taxes.

Could Stephen King's suggestion be the key for peace?]]>
<![CDATA[

It’s been a full year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. Millions of Ukrainians fled the country, while some stayed behind to fight on the front lines. So far, a handful of cities were liberated from Russian forces while some are still occupied. And while it’s currently unknown when the warfare will stop, horror author, Stephen King may have found a “perfect” solution.

King posted on Twitter a suggestion on how the two European leaders could declare peace. He suggested that Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin should host a pay-per-view fighting event to duke it out. That’s right, he suggested that a political boxing match would be the perfect solution to stop the invasion.

Despite how weird this sounds, it’s quite fitting if you think about it. Before the invasion, Putin tends to show photos of how “manly” he is. He would have photos of him with wild animals and he was also a judo champion before his titles were stripped. Meanwhile, Zelensky was an entertainer before he was president. A comedian even. He knows how to entertain an audience.

Not to mention, there were a few people on social media who argued that Zelesnky is the type of man that Putin tried to portray himself on social media before the invasion started. So hosting a pay-per-view political boxing match would not only help fund the winning country but would be the perfect opportunity for Putin to prove that all the photos and videos he’s shared in the past are not photoshopped.

This idea was met with mixed reactions. Most people have their money on Putin winning due to his history with the KGB – the Soviet Union’s main security agency. Meanwhile, Zelesnky doesn’t have any fighting experience. He’s just an actor, an entertainer. His only advantage is his age, but that’s not enough to stop someone with a black belt in judo.

It’s currently unknown how long Russia’s invasion would last. But plenty of first-world nations like America, Europe, and Australia have shown ongoing by providing weapons and vehicles to Ukraine. Recently, US President, Joe Biden visited the country since the invasion began, and was met with from some celebrities. While there were opportunities during the early months for peace talks, Ukraine will not stop until its country is free from invaders.

Time Magazine has announced its ‘Person of the Year‘ for 2022 and it was met with mixed reactions. Fortunately, this year’s recipient was met with , especially from Mark Hamill, who believed it was well-deserved.

Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky was Time Magazine‘s 2022 ‘Person of the Year’ due to his leadership during Russia’s invasion. Rather than fleeing the country, the president decided to stay behind as his people fought on the frontlines to protect their country. Time Magazine also recognized the “Spirit of Ukraine” as this year’s person of the year, alongside the president, since the morale to defend their homeland didn’t diminish since the invasion began.

Zelensky spoke with Time when he traveled to Kherson, which was recently liberated back in November. He said that his visit is for the people and hopes to bring up morale and show to the city.

“It’s the people. Nine months they’ve been under occupation, without light, without anything. Yes, they’ve had two days of euphoria over their return to Ukraine. But those two days are over.

“They are going to fall into a depression now, and it will be very hard. As I see it, it’s my duty to go there and show them that Ukraine has returned, that it s them. Maybe it will give them enough of a boost to last a few more days. But I’m not sure. I don’t lull myself with such illusions.”

Hamill celebrated this announcement with a simple hashtag to remind everyone to “stand with Ukraine.”

While a small number of his followers didn’t agree with him, most of the comments in Hamill’s post agreed with him and also believed that the title was well-deserved. Throughout the invasion, there were multiple failed assassination attempts from Russia to kill Zelensky. But despite all that, he still stayed in the country and visited the reclaimed cities just days after they were liberated.

Hamill showed his for Ukraine on social media since the country was invaded back in February 2022. On September 30, he was given the opportunity to speak with the Ukrainian president and was honored to be an ambassador for the Army of Drones.

It’s been nearly 10 months since Russia invaded the country. Since then, Ukraine showed resilience as they were able to reclaim stolen land from the invaders. At the same time, celebrities, such as Sean Penn, showed for the country. Russia was sanctioned by multiple big companies, while some donated millions of dollars to help Ukrainian refugees.

Freeman and Biden are among the 963 Americans banned from Russia.]]>
<![CDATA[

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is one of 963 Americans permanently banned from Russia.

Freeman, who has played the U.S. president in multiple movies, accompanies current U.S. president Joe Biden on the list released by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Saturday.

As the aggressor of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russia’s government enacted the mass-ban in response to American sanctions.

“In the context of responding to the constantly imposed anti-Russian sanctions by the United States and in connection with incoming requests about the personal composition of our national ‘stop list’, the Russian Foreign Ministry publishes a list of American citizens who are permanently banned from entering the Russian Federation.”

[translated from Russian]

The rationale behind Freeman’s ban dates back to 2017 when he (as translated from Russian) “recorded a video message accusing Russia of conspiring against the United States and calling for a fight against our country.”

Freeman spoke about Russia’s “cyber-warfare” on behalf of the Committee to Investigate Russia.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz9PNoecNxU

Unsurprisingly, people find the beloved actor’s ban both perplexing and hilarious.

https://twitter.com/luhblix/status/1528833658144145409

Other notable names on Russia’s list include Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, George Stephanopoulos, David Frum, Nancy Pelosi, Charles E. Schumer, George Soros, Ted Cruz, Brad Smith, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pete Buttigieg, Susan Glasser, Ilhan Omar, Julia Davis, Rob Reiner, Hunter Biden, and the deceased John McCain.

There are also some notable exceptions.

Barack Obama and Mike Pence didn’t make the list, either.

We can’t wait to hear what Freeman has to say about his punishment (he’s probably thrilled).

The list features 100 people whose efforts transform the world.]]>
<![CDATA[

Simu Liu, Andrew Garfield, and Zoë Kravitz are among the 100 people that have been named to Time Magazine‘s 100 Most Influential People of 2022. First published in 1999, the annual list honors and recognizes individuals for changing the world in the fields of arts, entertainment, politics, business, sciences, and more.

Each honoree is also recognized by an essay by another stand-out individual, most often from their own field. Liu, who not only made the list but graced the Time‘s cover for the article, received an essay by his fellow Asian-Canadian actor, Sandra Oh. Oh’s essay noted how “beautifully he’s balancing representing our community and staying true to himself.” In a nod to Liu’s title role in Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings, the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film to feature an Asian lead as the protagonist, Oh noted, “He’s our superhero.”

Garfield is considering taking a break from acting, but perhaps making the list will make him reconsider even though a redemptive return to the role of Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home, an Oscar nomination for tick tick… Boom and an acclaimed turn on Hulu’s Under the Banner of Heaven miniseries have not. Although the accompanying essay, written by Garfield’s Silence director Martin Scorsese himself, who calls him “one of the greats of his generation,” is a pretty convincing argument to not rest on one’s laurels for too long.

Kravitz is finally getting a taste of superstardom after years of paying her dues following her role as Catwoman in the latest Batman movie. Kravitz’s essayist, Reese Witherspoon, knows a bit about that level of fame and comments that her fellow Big Little Lies co-star, “chooses the path of hard work, constantly innovating and pushing the status quo. She hustles, writes her own scripts, stays up all night until the job is done. I’ve watched it up close, and it never ceases to amaze me.”

In addition to Liu, Garfield, and Kravitz, the list also includes veteran actors, Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sarah Jessica Parker as well as talented but relative newcomers such as Quinta Brunson, and Zendaya.

Others on the list’s five categories included leaders like Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Ursula von der Leyen, innovators including Taika Waititi, Mike Cannon-Brookes, and Michelle Zauner, titans such as Tim Cook, Oprah Winfrey, and Michelle Yeoh, icons Issa Rae, Keanu Reeves, and Adele, and pioneers like Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Nan Goldin, and Valérie Masson-Delmotte.

Amy Schumer wants to put on a show of for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian attacks when she hosts the Oscars on Sunday.]]>
<![CDATA[

Amy Schumer is set to co-host Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony, alongside Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes. It’s not unusual for high-profile awards shows to comment on current events, and given Russia’s ongoing war with Ukraine, Schumer understandably would like to put on a show of for the Eastern European country.

However, speaking with Drew Barrymore on her daytime chat show Monday, Schumer went so far as to say she tried to get Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to appear at the Oscars. Not physically, of course, since Zelensky is obviously indisposed at the moment — but via satellite.

“I actually pitched — I wanted to find a way to have Zelensky satellite in or make a tape or something just because there are so many eyes on the Oscars,” Schumer told Barrymore, according to IndieWire. However, from the sound of it, producers put the kibosh on the idea.

“I think it’s a great opportunity to at least comment on a couple of things,” Schumer continued.

“I have some jokes that kind of highlight the sort of current condition. I mean, there are so many awful things happening that it seems hard to focus on which one. I am not afraid to go there, but it’s not me producing the Oscars.”

Schumer is having a bit of a moment right now, after taking a few years off following the birth of her son Gene in 2019. In addition to the Oscars hosting gig, the 40-year-old comedian currently stars in Life & Beth, a 10-episode comedy series for Hulu which she also wrote and directed. The series premiered on March 18 to rarely rave reviews, and currently boasts a positive 80 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher launched a fundraiser to help those caught up in the conflict in Ukraine amid Russia's invasion.]]>

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is heaping praise on Hollywood couple and former That 70s Show co-stars Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher for raising nearly $35 for the country amid Russia’s invasion.

The pair spoke with Zelensky shortly after a public donation campaign they started to help supply humanitarian aid victims in the conflict, Bloomberg reports.

“[Ashton Kutcher] & Mila Kunis were among the first to respond to our grief,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter. “Grateful for their . Impressed by their determination. They inspire the world.”

The original fundraiser was completed using GoFundMe and had an initial goal of $30 million, with funds going to Flexport and Airbnb to help in giving millions who are fleeing from Ukraine housing and supplies. Each donation of up to $3 million would also be matched by the couple. Though the couple reached their goal Thursday, the funds continued to grow to where it is now $34.9 million, as of press time.

Kunis, who was born in Ukraine before moving to the U.S. in 1991, recently opened up about a newfound national pride for her home country due to the conflict.

“Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating and the Ukrainian people need our ,” Kunis wrote on the GoFundMe page.

On Thursday, the couple also made an update thanking those who donated.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the and while this is far from a solve [sic] to the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty,” the couple, who married in 2015 and share two children, said in a t statement.

Other charitable opportunities to help Ukraine include UNHCR’s website and the International Rescue Committee, among others.
