No one is safe from Kang the Conqueror.]]>
<![CDATA[

We know that both The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars are set to have some major character deaths, but the question is “Who"> 40v58

There were plenty of other predictions with explanations to back them up. Some fans also had doubts that anyone would really die in either film, or that we would see a lot of variants die but not necessarily the main cast. It’s safe to say if this were the case, fans wouldn’t be pleased. As much as everyone would like to see Doctor Strange, the Hulk, Hawkeye, and Thor go on forever, the fact of the matter is the MCU is getting too crowded and there has to be a cull. They can’t keep going indefinitely, as much as we want them to.

Although it may be morbid to try and predict who will die, realistically, The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars need to kill off some important characters to give the story emotion while also presenting a credible threat in Kang. We can’t have another film like Quantumania where there’s no sense of danger and no emotional connection.

One fan wonders if Kang's variants will try to collect the powerful items we have seen littered across phase four of the MCU. ]]>
<![CDATA[

Phase four of the MCU has introduced us to a whole host of powerful new objects whilst season one of Loki, completely seemed to nullify the power of the Infinity Stones. Many of these new objects of power seem to have a link to time, and one Reddit is wondering if Kang’s various variants are potentially on the hunt for them.

Season one of Loki quickly shut down the idea of the Infinity Stones carrying any more weight in the MCU, unless that is you need a weight to keep your papers on your desk. With the dismissal of the stones we have instead been introduced to a whole host of powerful new objects including Shang Chi’s Ten Rings, Kamala Khan’s bangles, Konshu’s staff, and we also got a very quick look at the Ebony Blade at the end of Eternals.

We don’t know if any of these will come together at any point, but they are pretty powerful and all seem to have powers that in some way relate to time, the Ten Rings grant the power but also immortality, the bangles allowed Kamala to travel back in time to see her great grandmother, Konshu’s staff turned back the very stars, and the Ebony Blade is also able to grant immortality to its wielder as well (though we have yet to see its power in the MCU.

A lot of the Multiverse Saga is based around time, of course, much of this came about after the Avengers went back in time during Endgame in order to undo the destruction created by Thanos. Now, we are simply watching the results of that decision play out after that very event led to Loki escaping and the destruction of the Sacred Timeline.

With that destruction comes the release of Kang’s many variants, which had been held at bay by one variant He Who Remains. One fan wonders if we will see multiple Kangs going after these, MacGuffins throughout phases five and six.

Some feel that this is a little too boring though, and hope there is more to come than another hunt for objects of power.

This person thinks that these treasures were Kang’s to begin with and that he will simply collect them once more.

Though some think that Kang would be able to conquer the universe without them anyway.

This fan thinks it sounds way too similar to the overarching plot for the Infinity Saga.

Unlike the Infinity Stones, all these objects are rather different from one another, though the bangles and the Ten Rings have a certain connection, and have very different attributes. We have no idea yet what Kang will do to achieve his goals, or what he needs to achieve them. Guess we will just have to keep watching.

It's been a busy, busy week for Marvel fans so far, and the madness continues today with the very first poster for Avengers 4.]]>
<![CDATA[

It’s been a busy, busy week for Marvel fans, and it doesn’t look to be slowing down in the slightest. Not that we’re complaining, mind you. After finally – finally! – getting the first trailer for Avengers 4 – or as we’re apparently going to start calling it now, Avengers: Endgame – the marketing barrage continues with the very first poster for the sequel. Done in the same style as the one-sheets we saw for its predecessors, it unfortunately doesn’t show us anything from the film itself. Rather, it features that classic ‘A’ that we’ve become so used to as well as teasing the release date, which is April 26th as per the recent update. You may recall that 2012’s The Avengers went with a silver title for its art, followed by a red logo for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and a gold one for Avengers: Infinity War. This latest design has chosen the color purple for its ‘A,’ making it impossible not to associate the image with a certain Mad Titan.

Speaking of which, the design is looking to be an unfortunate victim of Thanos’ snap, but while half of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes suffered the fate of dissolving into nothing earlier this year, the promotion for the Infinity War follow-up has finally had some life kicked into it. Though the film’s first trailer has left us with plenty of questions, it’s nice to see that the fans will finally have some solid and official material to base their predictions on, and they’ll have plenty of time to get their theories straight before Avengers: Endgame arrives this April. In the meantime, this week isn’t over yet, with the first teaser for Spider-Man: Far From Home expected to drop this Saturday.]]>

At long last, it's finally here. Yes, Marvel has released the first trailer for next year's Avengers 4, which teases what's sure to be 2019's biggest movie.]]>
<![CDATA[

I know, we can hardly believe it, either. But it’s finally – finally! – here. Yes, the very first trailer for Avengers 4 has just debuted online and damn near broke the internet in the process. Though Marvel’s still holding back quite a bit – and understandably so – our first look at what’s sure to be 2019’s biggest film certainly doesn’t disappoint and makes it very clear that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have one heck of a battle ahead of them if they’re to reverse Thanos’ deadly snap from Infinity War. Granted, how they’ll do just that, or even how they’ll resurrect their friends who died in the last movie remains unclear. Understandably, Marvel’s holding back a lot with this first preview and it truly is just a teaser trailer in every sense of the word. But that certainly doesn’t make it any less exciting, as even this brief, tantalizing peek at what’s to come is enough to send shivers down our spine.

No doubt something a bit more fleshed out will arrive in early 2019, but for now, there’s certainly enough here to get fans speculating and talking, with glimpses of the world feeling the effects of the Mad Titan’s snap and the impact that it’s had on our remaining heroes. Not to mention some quick flashes of what’ll no doubt be exhilarating action scenes, a look at what Hawkeye (or should that be Ronin?) has been up to and, of course, a pretty funny moment with Scott Lang to close it all out. The stakes certainly seem to be higher than ever, as we’ve been told, and we simply cannot wait to see how the film will bring Phase 3 of the MCU to a close. All things considered, this is a terrific bite-sized preview of Avengers 4 and with this teaser trailer now out in the wild, you can properly expect for the marketing campaign to ramp up over the coming months.]]>

Before the highly anticipated first trailer for Avengers 4 became the favorite topic of speculation for your average MCU fan, arguably the most popular question regarding the Avengers: Infinity War sequel was what the official title would be. And while the film’s teaser looks to be coming our way before the end of the week, the matter of what exactly we’ll be calling this movie could be left up for debate a little while longer. Collider’s Steven Weintraub has already offered his share of reports this week on the long-awaited Avengers 4 trailer, but today, he dropped one more piece of hearsay that could leave many a fan disappointed if it turns out to be correct:

“Already breaking my rule from two days ago. Hearing the first #Avengers4 trailer will not reveal the title. Want to be clear I am not 100% on this. Which is why it is a tweet and not a story on @Collider We should know if my source was right or wrong soon…”

As you can see, Weintraub makes it very clear that he’s not certain on the matter, but given how long Marvel Studios has dragged out this particular reveal so far, we certainly wouldn’t put it past them saving the grand unveiling for another day. Until recently, it was a popular prediction that the title would be revealed before the release of the first issue of the Avengers 4 Prelude comic on December 5th, with the the assumption being that Marvel wouldn’t release such tie-in material to a movie that didn’t even have a name yet. Alas, the book hit shelves earlier this week with only the title “Avengers Prelude” on the cover. At this point, you have to wonder if Marvel is taking its hype game too far, seeing how no title could possibly warrant this much build-up. Even studio head Kevin Feige acknowledged back in April that their choice not to reveal the name has “sort of backfired,” and that the title now has “no chance to living up to any expectations of what it’s gonna be.” Of course, that didn’t stop the producer from sitting on the reveal for at least another eight months, but hopefully the imminent Avengers 4 trailer will give fans more than enough material for the time being.

Here’s Why The Avengers 4 Trailer Has Taken So Long To Arrive 11361 https://wegotthiscovered.sitesunblocked.org/movies/heres-avengers-4-trailer-taken-long-arrive/ https://wegotthiscovered.sitesunblocked.org/movies/heres-avengers-4-trailer-taken-long-arrive/#respond <![CDATA[Matt Joseph]]> Thu, 06 Dec 2018 17:52:27 +0000 <![CDATA[Movies]]> <![CDATA[News]]> <![CDATA[Avengers 4]]> https://wegotthiscovered.sitesunblocked.org/?p=759083 <![CDATA[
The very first trailer for Avengers 4 will finally be here tomorrow, but fans across the world are still wondering just what took so long for it to release?]]>
<![CDATA[

At long last, and after what feels like eons of waiting, the very first trailer for Avengers 4 will make its way online tomorrow, at 9am EST, bright and early. Obviously, that’s hugely exciting and the internet is beyond eager to get their hands on the footage, but at the same time, everyone’s still got one question on their minds: why’d it take so long to get here? After all, we’ve already seen trailers from Disney for releases arriving after Avengers 4, like The Lion King and Artemis Fowl. Not to mention that the first Infinity War preview was with us by the end of November, and it only hit theaters one week earlier in the year than its sequel is set to be with us (April 27th vs. May 3rd). So, what gives? Well, a massive corporation like Walt Disney Studios obviously has a very careful and calculated marketing plan in place, especially when it comes to what could be one of their biggest releases of all-time. And as Screen Rant points out, there were many things that had to be taken into when deciding on when to give us the first Avengers 4 trailer.

For one, they had to make sure none of their other releases were overshadowed. By putting out the preview for the Infinity War sequel last, as their final big trailer of the year, they ensure that not only will it not cast a shadow over anything else that would’ve come after, but that it’s also the number one thing on our mind as we head into the holidays, which will be a quiet period with not much in the way of news fighting for our attention. Then, of course, there was the unexpected death of former U.S President George H.W. Bush, whose funeral took place on December 5th – the day that the trailer was supposed to be here. And given that the studio wanted to give the internet some breathing room from all the coverage on the funeral, we arrive at December 7th. So, in short, the Avengers 4 trailer took so long to get here simply because there were a few things that had to happen around the same time and by positioning it as their final major preview to release this year, Disney’s able to ensure that it doesn’t overshadow any of their other films. And while we’re still set to get trailers for Spider-Man: Far From Home and Godzilla: King of the Monsters later this weekend at CCXP, it’s important to note that neither of those are Disney releases, nor will they garner even half as much attention as what we’re about to see from Joe and Anthony Russo’s mega blockbuster.]]>

For the last few weeks, it’s felt like the first trailer for Avengers 4 has continuously appeared on the verge of release, only for some fresh report to swoop in with the news that it’s still a few more days away. Last weekend, for instance, the most popular rumor was that the teaser would arrive on Wednesday, but a couple of days after that, the reports came in saying we’d have to wait until this coming Friday. Since not everyone has the time and energy to keep track of this ongoing stream of updates and predictions, many fans were thinking that the footage still might arrive yesterday, only to end their Wednesday in disappointment, and the social media response is one of disillusionment:

Though the new Captain Marvel trailer has certainly made this week easier for MCU fans to get through, it’ll still be a relief when the Avengers 4 footage finally drops, if for no other reason than the period of uncertainty and speculation it will bring to an end. It’s been a long journey of repeated build-ups and letdowns, with much of the internet feeling confident just a couple of weeks ago that we’d be seeing the teaser by the end of November. When the trailer finally does arrive, it has more hype to live up to than we can reasonably put on a two-minute commercial, but Avengers 4 will presumably be saving its biggest secrets for when the film itself hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.

With the first Avengers 4 trailer finally - finally! - set to drop tomorrow at 9am EST, here's what we expect it to show us.]]>
<![CDATA[

At long last, the Avengers 4 trailer will finally – finally! – be with us tomorrow morning. Yes, bright and early, at 9am EST, Marvel will roll out the first footage from 2019’s biggest film and the internet could not be more excited. It’s been an excruciatingly long wait, one that’s taken the form of an emotional rollercoaster with numerous false starts and disappointments, but it’s now confirmed that Friday is the day where it’ll all come to an end. But what exactly can fans expect to see in this insanely hyped trailer? Well, we know what you shouldn’t expect to see, and that’s any of the dusted heroes. It’s already been confirmed that characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, etc., won’t be featuring in the trailer. In fact, not only will they not feature in the trailer, but they won’t feature in any of the marketing at all. That means posters, photos, clips, etc. It’s a bold move, promoting the film without some of its most recognizable faces, but one that might just pay off in the end. So, what can we expect to get then? Well, much of the focus will be on the remaining, original Avengers. That’d be Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow. We’ll no doubt see them coming together in their state of shock and grief as they formulate a plan to bring their friends back and defeat Thanos once and for all. After seeing them split up for so much of Infinity War, we imagine Marvel will give us at least a few shots of everyone back together again and we can’t wait to see them assembled once more as a team.

Of course, there are a few other heroes still kicking around as well – Captain Marvel, War Machine, Ant-Man, Nebula and Rocket – but we wouldn’t expect for the trailer to focus much on them. In fact, we’d be surprised if we even saw them at all. Especially Captain Marvel. Beyond that, though, there’s obviously going to be a big spotlight on Thanos, as he’s still the main threat of the film and arguably one of its biggest draws. It’ll be interesting to see what he’s up to in this post-Snap – sorry, post-Decimation (as that’s the official name for the Snap) – world and we expect that we’ll see quite a bit of him in the trailer. Finally, it’s expected that we’ll get some Quantum Realm stuff as well. Perhaps not footage of our heroes traveling through it, but it’s likely that Marvel will be playing up that aspect of the film in order to warm audiences up to it, as it’s going to hold a pretty big role not only in Avengers 4, but in the whole of the MCU moving forward – from what we’ve been told. And that’s it, really. Don’t expect any big action set pieces, don’t expect any surprise cameos, and certainly don’t expect to learn very much about the plot. Everything we’ve been told points to this being a fairly limited look at the film, with the OG heroes assembling to take down Thanos and a glimpse of the post-Decimation world they now live in being the main focus of it. But that’s perfectly fine, because with still so long to go before Avengers 4 hits theaters, you wouldn’t want everything already spoiled and out in the open, would you?]]>

The wait for the much anticipated first trailer for Avengers 4 has been a rollercoaster ride of excitement and letdowns, and after so many instances of false hope, we wouldn’t blame you for remaining skeptical that the footage will actually be here tomorrow. But tomorrow it is, with numerous reports and industry insiders confirming December 7th as being the day when we’ll finally – finally! – get our first look at 2019’s biggest movie. But when, exactly, will it drop online? Well, trusted tipster Daniel RPK has hopped on Twitter today to let us know that the trailer will be arriving first thing in the morning, with Marvel planning to release it at 9am EST. Granted, the studio hasn’t actually made any kind of official announcement themselves just yet – which is certainly a bit odd – but given Daniel’s track record, there’s no reason to doubt him. Not to mention that the 9am EST window is a pretty common one for big trailer debuts.

So, even despite the radio silence from Marvel, it certainly looks like the first Avengers 4 footage is just around the corner now. Perhaps we’re building ourselves up for yet another disappointment, but to look at things through the eyes of an optimist, if everything pans out as it’s supposed to, then we’re in for a pretty exciting couple of days, with the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer also said to be coming out this Saturday. The exact time for that one still eludes us, but you’d best set your alarm clocks for tomorrow morning, as you won’t want to miss what’s sure to be an internet-breaking trailer. The hype around the first footage of Avengers 4 has been quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen and we’re now less than 24 hours away from laying eyes on it. And how exciting is that?]]>

This weekend, Far From Home will be getting the spotlight at Brazil’s CCXP convention, and you may have already seen one of the features on display at the event. Specifically, Spidey’s new stealth suit will be viewable to visitors up close, having previously appeared in various leaked set photos from the European stretch of the film’s production.

When this dark design first emerged online, one of the fan theories it helped spawn was that Peter will be collaborating with a revitalized S.H.I.E.L.D. What’s more, because the film takes place so soon after Avengers 4, it was argued that the universe-changing events of the Russo Brothers’ ensemble picture might be what inspires the reemergence of this organization for Marvel’s Phase 4. The evidence for this speculation was the badge on Peter’s outfit, which some have claimed shows the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo. But with the costume on display at CCXP, whatever design was featured on this chest patch has evidently been removed. From this, we can gather that Sony is likely aware of their wider responsibilities to the MCU, and if the rumor checks out that the first Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser is dropping on Saturday, fans can probably watch it without fear of surprise spoilers for Avengers 4.]]>

Despite Tom Holland’s reputation as a notorious blabbermouth, it’s been a while now since the Spider-Man: Far From Home lead has dropped any major spoilers, suggesting that the actor might finally have learned to watch what he says, if only for fear of what might happen if he makes another mistake. In a recent exchange with a fan, for example, Holland was asked what’s going to happen in Avengers 4, prompting him to joke in response, “They’ll shoot me!” The fan then posed the more specific question of whether Peter Parker will be coming back to life after his sad fate in Avengers: Infinity War, and Holland insisted once more, “I can’t tell you, they’ll shoot me.” By ‘they,’ Holland is presumably referring to his bosses at Marvel Studios, who we know to be well aware of the star’s habit of carelessly dropping intel. And since the actor is involved in two of next year’s MCU releases, that creates double the opportunity for problems.

That being said, if what we’re hearing is true about the first trailers for both Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home coming our way in the next few days, then Marvel could be on the verge of ea just a little on all their excessive spoiler-proofing. Either way, with Sony promoting the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel at this weekends’ CCXP in Brazil, you can expect at least a few reveals to emerge from the event, with the first official image of Peter’s new stealth suit already making its way online. In any case, Tom Holland only has to keep the Avengers 4 spoilers to himself until the film hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019. After that, Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5th.]]>

That Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and all those ‘dusted’ by Thanos at the climax of Avengers: Infinity War will be returning is hardly a secret. Marvel Studios is actively producing or in pre-production for many of its seemingly dead characters to appear in their own films, so unless they’re conducting the world’s most elaborate hoax with Spider-Man: Far From Home, it’s safe to say that by the end of Avengers 4 our heroes will have found some way to turn back the clock and resurrect them. Despite that, Marvel Studios are at least nominally going to pretend that this isn’t the case, as it’s being reported by Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic that none of the dusted heroes will be featuring in the marketing materials for Avengers 4. So, when the first trailer’s released this Friday, you can expect it to be tightly focused around the surviving original team (and maybe Rocket Raccoon and Nebula, too).

If this extends to the studio’s full marketing plans, I’ll be impressed. After all, being prevented from using lucrative properties like Spider-Man will inevitably impact upon the film’s bottom line. Just take a look at the wealth of marketing materials and merchandise we saw in the run-up to Infinity War that featured the film’s gargantuan cast – with everyone from Teen Groot to Thor’s new weapon being spoiled on collectable soft drink cups and action figures. Then again, perhaps Avengers 4 could really take audiences for a ride and confound every prediction by ensuring those heroes did actually remain dead. Maybe Far From Home is secretly set before Infinity War? And perhaps those sequels will, in fact, star legacy heroes – so Black Panther 2 would feature Shuri in the lead role. I think that’s probably extremely unlikely, but boy, can you imagine the shock it’d cause around the world?]]>
