With the ing of festival season each year comes the inevitable run of slickly produced recap videos, offering music fans a chance to reflect on the previous year as promoters gear up the ticket sales for next season. Earlier this morning, Ultra Music Festival dropped a stunning, fourteen minute long aftermovie for their Miami event from back in March, delivering an electrifying memento for one of the biggest festivals of the year.
The new aftermovie opens with an astronaut stranded on a small island just outside of Miami. The figure makes their way inland by use of a jet ski and goes on to explore the Floridian city, before eventually making it to the festival in question. The astronaut serves as a fixture throughout the film, showing up occasionally alongside the usual footage of the festival grounds, the packed crowds, and of course the DJs. Familiar faces like Avicii, Tiësto, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and more appear throughout the video, bringing some major star power to the already explosive clip.
Set to a soundtrack that features the likes of Nicky Romero, Sander van Doorn, Avicii, Galantis and more, the official aftermovie for Ultra Miami 2016 serves as the perfect way to relive the massive festival.
