Kim Zolciak and stepdaughter of Kroy Biermann, has revealed that her parents spent all of her earnings from her television and social media career. The 23-year-old made these claims during the Tuesday premiere of her new Bravo reality series, “Next Gen NYC.”
According to Page Six, Ariana, who has been in the public eye since she was five years old, built a substantial income through reality television appearances and social media brand deals. She started securing brand partnerships at the age of 14 and was earning significant amounts through Instagram posts and stories.
“I was doing like three posts a week, and you get paid astronomically to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money,” Ariana revealed during her confessional. She discovered the loss of her earnings two years ago, but remains unclear about the exact amount and how it was spent.
Financial struggles continue to impact family relationships
The financial situation has created tension in Ariana’s personal life, particularly with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy. She itted to sometimes hiding from Hudson when her mother calls asking for money, acknowledging the difficult circumstances of her mother going through a divorce while living with four children.
This revelation comes amid Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s ongoing contentious divorce, which has been marked by serious financial difficulties. Kroy has accused the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star of having a gambling problem that has “financially devastated” their family.
According to allegations made by Kroy, Zolciak spent more than $600,000 on luxury items from high-end retailers including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Chanel between 2016 and 2023. The extent of their financial troubles became more apparent when they were forced to sell their Georgia mansion.
The couple finally managed to sell their home after it spent a year and a half on the market, but they had to accept $3 million less than their original asking price. The property had been facing foreclosure before the sale was completed. Despite these challenges, Ariana expressed her desire to maintain family relationships, stating, “I get it and I never want money to destroy the relationship with my family.”
