This poor woman is now surely doomed after dodging death during ‘Final Destination’ screening

Maybe avoid tanning beds, rollercoasters and large trucks carrying logs.

There are bad omens, and then there are BAD OMENS. Final Destination Bloodlines is currently tearing it up at the box office, reviving the classic horror franchise in style with a fresh entry that’s considered one of the best in the franchise’s history.

If you aren’t caught up, the Final Destination movies generally see people dodging certain death after having a terrifying premonition. This disrupts death’s plan, as those whose lives were saved were supposed to die. From that point on, the world is trying to kill them: be it by malfunctioning tanning bed, a shard of glass in your drink, or a speeding bus out of nowhere.

All of which means 29-year-old Argentinian woman Fiamma Villaverde better take some serious precautions. As per Infobae, on May 19, she went out to celebrate her birthday in Buenos Aires. By chance, she decided to check out the new Final Destination. As she says (translated from Spanish): “It was my birthday, we were walking and happened upon the theater. Since the tickets were cheaper than the rest of the week, we said, ‘Shall we?’ We went in, bought some popcorn, and went into the theater. The show had just started.”

Everything seemed normal until some ominous noises began to emanate from the ceiling. Villaverde initially thought this was part of the movie, “but then a huge piece fell on me”. Incredibly, at that moment she’d leaned over the armrest, meaning the falling piece of debris only struck her shoulder, back, and knee, just missing her head.

This was a serious blow, requiring a visit to the hospital and an X-ray. Who’s to say what could have happened had the falling roof struck her head? Perhaps this screening really could have been… her final destination?

There are no accidents, no coincidences, no mishaps, and no escapes

Whether death is coming for Villaverde or not, she is justifiably angry about her birthday being ruined by falling debris. She explains that she already suffered from panic attacks and anxiety from being in crowded places, and setting foot in the cinema was pushing her boundaries: “I haven’t been to the movies in years. I went because it was my birthday, and look what happened to me”.

She is now in with lawyers, as her injuries have prevented her from providing for her young daughter: “I haven’t been able to go to work for days. Who’s going to take care of this?” All that said, if we were Villaverde, we’d be very, very careful in the coming weeks. That piece of ceiling may have been pre-ordained to hit her, and she may now violate death’s unchangeable plans. Stay safe!
