Kevin Feige Reveals Why Tom Holland Leaked Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Title

Tom Holland is terrible at keeping secrets – you know it, I know it, and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige very much knows it, too.

But while everyone’s favorite Web-Head has been guilty of posting spoiler-sensitive information in the past, it turns out Holland was given the green light to ‘leak’ started rolling in the United Kingdom.

As Kevin Feige tells Birth.Movies.Death (h/t ComicBook.com), doing so allowed Marvel Studios to announce Far From Home on their own – not unlike Quentin Tarantino’s decision to really is the name of Peter Parker’s next solo adventure.

Here’s what Feige told BMD:

There are certain logistics of the way these movies are made that meant that title would potentially be leaked in some way because it was going out into the world in various forms. So Mr. Holland took it upon himself to leak it for us.

It’s supposedly a title with summer vacation in Europe.

Berlin and London have already been earmarked as filming locations, before the MCU sequel circles back to New York City to capture one or two scenes in Spidey’s backyard. Its mission? To successfully launch Marvel’s Phase 4 in a post-Avengers 4 world. So, you know, no pressure.

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings for the fences on July 5th, 2019.
