Though we’ve seen many leaked set photos and videos from Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is currenty filming, today we finally get the first official image. Coming to us courtesy of Robert Downey Jr., we get a look at the Hollywood A-lister standing beside executive producer Jeremy Latcham. They’re both wearing reflective vests and Downey looks like he’s striking a contemplative pose.
Of course, this tells us absolutely nothing about the film itself, but it’s an indication that the actor might have more on the way for us in of set photos. Or at least, that’s what we’re hoping for. Even if this is the one and only thing that Downey decides to tweet from the set, you can be sure that more leaked material will appear online, along with something more official as we get closer to the film’s release date, which is just over a year away now.
Directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theatres on May 1st, 2015 and stars and stars Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Paul Bettany, and Thomas Kretschmann.
